Beta Trial For Free
Magic Jack is now in Beta, and if you purchase your Magic Jack through the magicjack.com website, you will get a free 30-day trial. During that 30 day free trial, you can make as many free local and long distance calls as you like. Make sure you install your Magic Jack and try out all the features as soon as possible after receiving it.
This is how the 30 day Free Trial works:
- Go to magicjack.com, click on Free Trial.
- Give all the necessary information, including a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover).
- The 30 day Free Trial begins the day you place your order.
- Make all the calls you want, try out all the features such as the Voice Mail, Call Waiting and Caller ID. Have your friends and family call your new Magic Jack phone number to make sure it is working properly.
- After the 30 day Free Trial, your credit card will be charged $39.95 plus $6.95 for shipping and handling. This includes the cost of the Magic Jack device, and the license to use it for a year to make free local and long distance calls within the United States.
Magic Jack is created to work with Windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac Intel operating systems, so be sure that is what you are running on your computer before you order. Also, you will need a broadband or internet connection, Magic Jack is not designed to work with dial-up internet services.
If Magic Jack isn’t what you wanted, then visit magicjack.com/returns.html and fill out their return form to receive an RMA number. Return the Magic Jack so that it is received back within the 30 days and your credit card will not be charged. You will still be responsible for the shipping charge to ship the Magic Jack to you, and also the return shipping. Keep your packaging that the device was originally shipped in until you are sure you are keeping it, as you are required to return magicJack in it’s original packaging.
Hopefully, you won’t need to use the return service. I’m very satisfied with my Magic Jack and do plan on renewing it for another year when that time comes. Happy Free Calling!

Magic jack wirked fine with our exsisting phone service but hafter disconnecting that service magic jack was not so magical couldn’t make a call when i wanted could not recieve calls and i have been trying to get a return adress i had to go through some RMA PROCESS THEY do not have record of my order but they are holding my funds ??????

Yes that is what I understand, you’ve got to get in touch with them and get an RMA code to return your Magic Jack. Also, they want it back in hand within 30 days, which narrows the trial period to as little as 2 weeks when you figure shipping times both ways. I can understand their wanting an RMA code to keep things straight, but I think they should extend the free trial time to 30 days to call and get an RMA code, not to have it shipped back. What if the post office decides to take a couple of weeks to deliver it? That is out of the customer’s hands and not fair to deny the refund.

My partner ordered our Majic Jack.
I was aginst the ideal due to the
fact that we already have Cell phones.
My partner wanted for business
trips.
I foud it very easy to install and
opperate it.

If you use Majic Jack and get rid of landline it is my understanding the internet will not work with DSL acording to Verizon ,true or false???????? Thu=is is what they told me b4 Majic Jack was in picture,I wante to have two cell phones at one time and still have intenet

I want to order Magic Jack and I have a credit card that has Debt. on it, it is a bank card. Can I use this and which do I check Debit? OR Credit?

Debit is a check card, and will come directly out of your checking account. You need to plan to have the money in your account because a hold is put on the amount of money until your account is actually charged. If you have a credit card, then you should check Credit.

Do you need a credit card in order to have it work? I’m 16 and i was going to go on down to my local radio shack and pick it up, but i dont have a credit card. Just wondering if i have to have my parents use theirs.

I need to know if I could buy magicjacks and send them over to my friends in a foreign country other than Canada and talk to my friends over there or have them call me. When I call them, what number should I dial? Viceversa, when they call me, what number should they dial?
I’m getting very excited about this new device.

Hi,
I wanted to say that I have been watching for a a couple of months on and off and I would like to sign up for the daily feed. I am not to computer smart so I’ll give it a try but I might need some help. This is a terrific find and I would hate to lose touch, and maybe never find it again.
