Magic Jack Freezes PC
The Magic Jack Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) device is definitely one of the best and most tested on the market but even it can run into problems on occasion. That said, one of these somewhat common problems that people report is when Magic Jack freezes PC unfortunately. That is not a fun one at all, my friend, as you may very well know. If it happens once, or maybe just once in a blue moon, that is one thing. But if it happens more or less everytime you try to use this voip phone or turn your computer on, well then that is a problem that absolutely must be solved as soon as possible hands down. In this article we’ll explore some of the complaints about magicJack freezing up people’s PCs and some of the possible problems and solutions that could lead to the elimination of this major headache and hassle.
First of all, it is highly important when diagnosing this problem is that you write out what changes you have made to your PC, hardware, and operating system (new programs, etc.) since MJ last worked. I know this is not exactly what you want to hear, but a simple diagnostic analysis such as this will often yield surprisingly obvious results that were not previously being seen.
Once this information is spelled out before you than you might see an obvious linkage to something such as an increased usage of RAM or memory which could be leading to the freeze. When Magic Jack freezes PC (or when anything else does for that matter) it is frequently because way too much memory is being used. If you have ever had the experience of trying to think of way too many things at once then maybe you can relate to your PC’s behavior. At a certain point, one is susceptible to overload and may even lose the ability to think at all! So this is a common cause of freezing problems in this capacity.
Other than that, people have sometimes reported something as simple as simply plugging a device into a certain USB port to be the culprit in freezing their computer up. This may occur only when this device freezes up your computer or it could be a wider problem that you haven’t noticed (or tested sufficiently) which is coming from merely any device going into that particular USB port.
