Magic Jack Installation Instructions From Package
Here are two photos of the install help that comes with your Magic Jack voip phone. I had a visitor who lost hers so I thought it might be a good thing to show it here, as there are probably other people who have lost their copy also.
Here is the first photo, with what it says printed below it. That way, if you want to copy and paste it and print it out to save it will be more legible than trying to print the picture of it.
Monthly Maintenance
1. Unplug your router, wait 60 seconds and turn it back on.
Requirements
1. Microsoft Windows XP or Vista, Apple/Mac
2. You must have a High Speed Internet Connection i.e. Broadband, Cable Internet, DSL, Wireless, Wi-Fi, WiMax or FiOS
IMPORTANT! READ THE FOLLOWING REGARDING ENHANCED 911 SERVICE USING THE MAGICJACK
Dialing 911:
1. REQUIRES prior activation on your part. You must register your correct service address adn update your registration address if you use your magicJack from another location. You will receive an e-mail confirming your current registered address.
2. Will NOT function during a broadband or power disruption/outage.
3. Will NOT function if the magicJack is damaged or disabled.
4. Is subject to the limitations or the 11 emergency response system where your registered address is located.
5. Is FREE and available anywhere in the United States and is easy to activate when you plug in your magicJack.
You should maintain an alternate means of dialing 911 and make sure other users of your magicJack know this.
Visit www.magicjack.com for details.
Install Help
If the magicJack does not install after 3 minutes then:
1. Unplug your magicJack, wait a full 30 seconds, then re-plug into a different USB port on your computer. This is the simplest fix and resolves over 90% of install issues.
2. Wait a complete two minutes for the software to install. DO NOT ATTEMPT A CALL OR PRESS YOUR KEYBOARD UNTIL YOU REGISTER.
Remember: magicJack works best when plugged directly into a USB port on your computer. Do not plug into a multi port USB hub that is not AC powered.
3. In a few rare instances, your USB port on your computer may not have enough power. In these instances (only when #1 and #2 did not resolve the issue), we recommend that you plug magicJack into an AC powered USB hub that is plugged into your computer. You may purchase a powered hub at any store that sells computers.
Easy Fix
Go to www.magicJack.com
click “customer care” to run magicFix
So there you have it, the package instructions (at least from the package I received in the mail), for the voip phone called Magic Jack.

Does Magic Jack work with Citynet.net service??
a year ago I purchased majicjack, after having it for a month I purchased your 5 year plan. But after the first year you canceled me majicjack phone line phone number was (1-714-982-2129). Are you going reconnect me or credit my credit card 59.95 for the 5 year plan that you canceled on me. If you are going to reconnect me do you have phone numbers in the Victorville, Hesperia or Apple Valley, California area (760).
Thank you
