Magic Jack Inventor

As soon as you purchase a Magic Jack, you can plug it in and begin making phone calls in just a few minutes.  Although many do not recommend replacing your landline telephone with it, you can save a lot of money on your long distance phone calls by using this new phone system for your calls.  The more calls you make, the more you are saving.

A guy named Dan Borislow is the one who invented the magic Jack.  He has been involved in telecommunications for many years, over twenty in fact.  He is also the founder of YMAX Communications corporation.  It has the biggest local exchange carrier network in the United States. He used to be the CEO of Tel-Save, bringing cheap long distance calling for millions of AOL customers.  While in this position, he received a J.D. Power & Associates award for customer satisfaction.  Maybe someday his current company will have more satisfied customers.  He has stated recently that this company has a high customer service satisfaction rate but many people feel that it should have a phone number to call so that they can speak to a live person.  It has been said that it makes this company look like a scam, which it is not.

Mr. Borislow was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1961.  As a successful entrpreneur, he also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Widener University which is located in Chester, Pennsylvania.  He also is a member of their board of trustees and holds an honorary doctorate degree.  He likes sports, especially soccer, deep sea fishing, throroughbred horse breeding and also horse racing.

    I need a new laminated instruction/direction card that came with my Magic Jack. I had a theft and the card was in a suitcase that was stollen.

    I tried through your customer service to obtain one, but they did not understand my request.

    How can I obtain this card without purchasing another Magic Jack?

    Brenda,

    I still have my card so have scanned the page for you here:

    http://voip2u.org/magic-jack-installation-instructions-from-package

    These are the only instructions on my card other than to plug the phone cord into the magicJack, then plug the magicJack into your usb port.

    You can contact their customer service here:

    Hope this helps, thanks for visiting!

    @earl,

    Using a fax with magic jack is not supported or recommended by the company. However, some people have reported being able to use a fax with it by slowing down the speed of the fax.

    Thanks for visiting!
