Magic Jack Voip Phone

Buying a Magic Jack voip phone is one of the absolutely best ways to save a very significant amount of money on long distance phone calls on a yearly basis. Every year, more and more people are discovering the virtues of this new voip phone service and VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) in general. The over-riding best reason to consider going this route in replacing or supplementing your land line is that it very drastically cuts down on your phone bills. In fact, after the initial purchase ($40 or so) all you will ever have to pay for again is just the annual renewal on this phone service, which is barely any money at all when you consider the low price which includes both the device and the first year’s service.

The way that a Magic Jack phone works is that it plugs directly into the USB port on your computer. Now, you must have a high-speed Internet connection such as a cable modem or a DSL modem beforehand in order to really get it to work to its best capacity. Then you plug your actual phone into the device. In the meantime, a bunch of easy to use software has automatically loaded onto your computer’s hard drive. Just follow the easy to understand promptings on screen and this will load up nice and quick. Then pick up your phone and be amazed when you hear a dial tone! Start placing and receiving calls just like that – just don’t forget to keep your computer turned on at all times that you want to be able to receive phone calls!

As you can see the Magic Jack voip phone is both cheap and easy to use. That is how it should be. Some other companies have gone the way of the dodo bird because they did not pay enough attention to the users’ desire to have an intuitive interface which does not require technical know how. This is where this company has really stood out. Because they got into the game sooner and on a larger scale than most other companies in the VoIP sector, they were able to quickly realize that many people avoid switching over from their land lines just because they are intimidated by the prospect of learning a new “scary” technology. Again, this entire problem is bypassed by taking all the hard work and confusion out of using their service.

Compatible phones to use with Magic Jack. Hi, I’d like to know of a phone that would work with Magic jack so that I don’t need to buy an additional usb hub, hopefully. I have heard that analog provides better voice quality, and was thinking of a cordless analog phone. I just need a simple phone (have been using my roomate’s and want some more freedom). Any ideas? Thanks!

    Dear Rose,

I hope somebody can help me, and I pray
somebody will inform that Magic Jack company that they need a live customer service and Magic jack repair service online like other companies! I have no contact with that company other
than listening to them selling more services.

My Magic Jack is plugged in properly, and it has been working ok except sometimes it takes a long time for me to get a dial tone. This morning I tried to use my magic jack, and my phone is dead, and magic jack doesn’t even appear on my computer screen. It is gone. It doesn’t boot up on my computer screen. What can I do? I am paying for a service which is not available! I cannot reach that magic jack company by phone or via internet. Please e-mail me if you can help me. We cannot even write to these people! They just look like they have a company that just collects money, and a service without any support. Thank you. Dolores Bradwell
