My Magicjack initializes fine, and if I use it right after it starts up, the calls work fine and quality is good. My problem is that after a few minutes of non - use, I get no dial tone and have to restart it from scratch. It seems to "time out". This is a fairly recent problem, I suspect from a so called "upgrade". I also found out from working with their tech support that if you use any longer USB extension than the one they give you, it doesn't work. The light won't stay on the little module but for a few seconds. Seems to me like the sensitivity is very poor. Is it recommended that you buy the powered USB extension ? MJ Tech support did not say anything about it.

We are not receiving our phones calls. Callers say the (our) number has been disconnected. What is the problem. Also, we cannot call out. We paid for the service in full for two years. Please respond ASAP!
